Demo Account
A demo account runs on the same platform and the same live pricing as a funded account. The only difference is that the money is virtual, so a mistake costs you a lesson rather than a loss.
Use it to learn the mechanics: placing orders, setting stops and limits, reading margin figures, closing part of a position. Use it to test a strategy across enough trades that the result means something. Use it to find out how a specific instrument actually behaves before you commit capital to it.
One honest caveat, because it matters more than most new traders expect. A demo cannot replicate how it feels to have real money at stake, and discipline that holds up in simulation often does not survive first contact with a real drawdown. Treat the demo as the place to eliminate technical uncertainty, not as evidence that you are ready.
