How client funds are protected
When you deposit with a broker, you should know exactly where that money sits and who is able to touch it.
Segregated accounts. Client funds are held in segregated bank accounts, entirely separate from our operating capital. We cannot use client money to fund our own business activities. In practical terms, our money and your money are not in the same place and are not treated the same way.

Negative balance protection. Under normal market conditions you cannot lose more than the funds in your account. If a severe gap moves a position beyond your balance, the resulting deficit is not passed on to you. Full terms and any exclusions are set out in your client agreement.
